Chapter 29 - Joint and Muscle Injuries

Overexertion or impact to the body can create serious muscle or joint injuries. A sprain is a stretching or tearing of muscles or fibers that attach muscles to bone. A bruise (or contusion) is also considered a muscle injury and should be responded to in the same manner.
